I’ve got two fun things from around the internet I want to share today!
First –
A few weeks ago, I received the nicest e-mail from Emily of Stay Healthy, Stay Happy. Emily is a young blogger from the Boston area writing a pretty impressive blog on healthy lifestyles. (At least I was impressed. I certainly was not pulling off a blog when I was in college! OK, blogs didn’t exist when I was in college, but I guarantee I wouldn’t have been writing one even if they were. I was way too busy discussing which cute boy I saw at the dining hall.) Anyhow, Emily has a lovely writing voice and I like her combination of informational and personal posts.
She wrote, “I’m looking to write-up a well-informed article for my blog about following this primal-inspired diet and want my readers to hear it from the people who make it a lifestyle. If you had some spare time, I’d love to hear why you chose Paleo, why you would recommend it, and where you struggle.”
I loved that she was interested in exploring different ways of eating for herself and her readers – and I always welcome the opportunity to go on and on about the paleo diet and why I think it is so awesome — so I agreed to answer a few questions about me and my paleo.

Second –

From http://321chic.com
One thing that you may not know about me is that I totally dig cute clothes. I try not to write about clothes much since this is a paleo blog and I am well aware that many folks don’t give a click that I am totally obsessed with buying neon green loafers for spring. I have written an ode to fashion blogs and a tribute to leggings, but I usually try to find other outlets for my passion for cute dresses (like long discussions with my friend, Jane.)
But today, I came across a post in which one of the coaches at my CrossFit gym was given a fashion makeover from another CrossFitter who has awfully cute taste in clothes! If you are at all interested, I encourage you to click through and enjoy.
Your turn –
What are you loving these days? Any paleo or CrossFit blogs I should be checking out? Leave a comment because I would love to hear about them!

Thanks for sharing! I’ll be following your Paleo adventures.
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to share something I love.
I’m looking forward to reading about your pescatarian month and other adventures!
This post about fashion – and our dear Courtney – made my morning! Thanks!
Mine too! I seriously thought it was the most delightful thing on the internet all day. She looked amazing!
Agreed! And one more thing: the first thing I do in the morning is read paleo and crossfit blogs, and the last thing I do at night is read crossfit and paleo blogs
One paleo site that I find most resourceful is actually not a paleo-focused site at all, but a gluten-free resource who also happens to have a paleo cooking section. I’m sure you’re more familiar than me, but Elana’s Pantry is so very meaningful to me because she is located in Boulder and can direct on high-altitude cooking times better than non-Colorado blogs I’ve been using lately. It’s a big deal when you’re entire week revolves around a successful prep day!
If I didn’t have you, Julie Bauer or Elana, I KNOW I wouldn’t be able to strive for this lifestyle at all! THANKS!
Angie, Funny you should mentioned Elena’s Pantry. I don’t do much paleo baking but a friend I have started to play around with it a little and we tried a number of recipes from that site — so far, all radically successful. I hadn’t though about the CO connection, but it totally makes sense!
I love that read so many blogs. I totally do as well — it’s nice to know I’m not the only one that checks out the paleosphere first thing in the morning and last thing at night!
PS, I’m also obsessed with Bob Harper’s Instagram, which coincidentally, is mostly about his obsession with Crossfit
