Packing? Please. Nourish Paleo Foods is on Pinterest.

PinterestIt’s going to be an awesome weekend.

Matt and I are getting on a plane tomorrow morning to see our good friends, Rob and Petra, in San Antonio, Texas.  We have planned a dash of sightseeing mixed with a lot of chatting, WODs and decadently delicious meals.  Rob and Petra follow what Petra once called a “Paleo Plus” lifestyle, where the “plus” is all the fun stuff, like dark chocolate and cocktails.

I could not be more excited!  There’s just one little thing.  Traveling requires packing.  Packing is tedious.  Totally not fun.  Obviously, the only logical thing to do when faced with packing is to procrastinate.

From what I have been told, an excellent way to procrastinate is Pinterest.  So as of tonight, Nourish Paleo Foods is on Pinterest.  You can follow me HERE.   I haven’t pinned much yet but I do plan to add pictures of all my recipes going forward.

The truth is though, it’s not immediately obvious to me what the hype is about. What do you do when you spend a lot of time on Pinterest?

If you are a Pinterest fan or have any tips or resources for a new user, I would appreciate if you would leave a comment.   If you have tried Pinterest and then opted out, I would love to hear why.  I will give the comments a good review when we get back on Monday.  But now I kind of have to get back to packing.

  1. I haven’t really explored Pinterest, but I might have to now! I never would have thought to look there for Paleo recipes.

  2. Hey MC,
I don’t get what all the hype is either! Derek and I are on Pinterest and did much exploring last weekend. In the end, I felt very overwhelmed and as if I had wasted a whole lot of time…that I do not have. So, I’ll stay tuned to follow your journey(aren’t I nice).
By the way, we got written up on 5280′s blog and made the cover of the on-line Table Talk for our granola…pretty cool!
